Green Geometric Placemat - Kristín

The lovely geometric placemats are handmade in Norway. Handpainted with watercolours before being printed onto the finest linen fabric. The pattern is inspired by old Norwegian cultural heritage pattern.  

The inspiration for this striking wallpaper design was taken from one of the many beautiful wall-hanging textiles, hand-woven by Gyri’s great-grand mother, Kristin, a long time ago. This pattern is named after her.

As all the fabrics are printed in small batches variations in colours and textures may occur as well as the textiles may have natural characteristics that are not defects.
