Geometric Cushion with Piping - Gustav

The geometric cushion cover with piping is handmade in Norway. The Gustav cushion was hand painted with watercolours before being printed onto the finest linen fabric. The pattern is inspired by old Norwegian cultural heritage patterns. 

The story behind this pattern: This design is inspired by Gyri’s grandmother’s beautiful woven wall hangings, which featured designs typical to Telemark, southern Norway. Gyri was inspired to give these, all but forgotten, influential folk designs new attention by presenting them in a more contemporary style. 

As all the fabrics are printed in small batches variations in colours and textures may occur as well as the textiles may have natural characteristics that are not defects.
