The Sverresborg stripes fabrics puts a modern spin on traditional tavlebragd by elongating the stripes, capturing the essence of tradition and modern sustainability. It also presents an elegant design perfect for curtains, pillows, and other home decor.

This pattern is printed onto OEKO-TEX certified linen-blend fabric.

Please note that as we are printing to order on natural fibres to minimise wastage, colour variations may occur from batch to batch (this may include from customer samples to an ordered batch). We will however always ensure this is within commercial tolerance.

Due to the nature of digital printing we cannot guarantee to deliver to the exact amount ordered. We have a process tolerance of approximately 10%.  Your orders may be delivered with a plus or minus tolerance of 10% of the order.

The story behind this design: This pattern is inspired by the Norwegian wall hanging, known as the Tavlebragd Teppe. The inspiration was found on Sverresborg Folkemuseum, hence the name. This design draws its inspiration from the vibrant heritage and craftmanship of an area in Trøndelag, in middle of Norway. The inspiration behind Sverresborg Stripes was to give this traditional wallhanging a contemporary twist by making the stripes more elongated than they normally are on the  traditional tavlebragd and still blend harmoniously the history, sustainability, design, and bringing the heart of Norway into contemporary living spaces.
