Gustav fabric is a stunning geometric pattern print, sustainably crafted on premium linen. Its unique motif pays homage to the old Norwegian cultural heritage, making it the ideal companion for cushions, curtains, and any other home decor.
The pattern was hand painted with watercolours before being printed onto the finest linen fabric.
Please note that as we are printing to order on natural fibres to minimise wastage, colour variations may occur from batch to batch (this may include from customer samples to an ordered batch). We will however always ensure this is within commercial tolerance.
Composition: 60% linen & 40 cotton
Repeat: 4.5cm (w) x 6.5cm (h) / 1.8’’ x 2.5’’

The story behind this pattern:
This design is inspired by Gyri’s grandmother’s beautiful woven wall hangings, which featured designs typical to Telemark, southern Norway. Gyri was inspired to give these, all but forgotten, influential folk designs new attention by presenting them in a more contemporary style.
