After many years abroad, where she also took an MA in Fine and Decorative Arts at Sotheby's Institute and worked in art galleries in London, the founder, Gyri S. Susrud returned to Norway with a clear vision. She started Gyri Design, a textile and wallpaper business with a clear goal: to renew and create innovative patterns inspired by Norwegian cultural history.

With a keen interest in reviving traditional patterns and bringing them into modern homes, she has created a brand that combines the traditions of the past with the aesthetics of today.

Gyri Design attaches great importance to sustainability, both in material selection and production processes. Through environmentally friendly textiles and wallpaper, Gyri Design has not only revitalized Norwegian traditions, but also put a strong focus on sustainable production.
