Floral Cushion with Ruffles - Liva
The floral cushion cover with ruffles is handmade in Norway. The Liva cushion was hand painted with watercolours before being printed onto the finest linen fabric. The pattern is inspired by old Norwegian cultural heritage pattern.
The story behind this pattern: This pattern was inspired by a pattern that was decorated on a bed in a cultivated farm house. This design references traditional Rosemaling an old Norwegian decorative art form originating in Telemark, southern Norway. The flowers and other stylised ornamentation in these designs – were usually painted with primary colours and featured on objects, cabinets and walls.
As all the fabrics are printed in small batches variations in colours and textures may occur as well as the textiles may have natural characteristics that are not defects.
