Arthur fabric - Available in 2 Colourways
This beautiful floral fabric is sustainably printed on the finest linen fabric. Inspired by old Norwegian cultural heritage patterns, this fabric design is perfect for cushions, curtains, upholstery and other soft furnishings for interiors.
The pattern was hand painted with watercolours before being printed onto the finest linen fabric.
Please note that as we are printing to order on natural fibres to minimise wastage, colour variations may occur from batch to batch (this may include from customer samples to an ordered batch). We will however always ensure this is within commercial tolerance.
Composition: 60% linen 40% cotton
Repeat: 12.5cm (w) x 38cm (h) / 4.9’’ x 14.9’’

The story behind this pattern: This pattern was inspired by a pattern that was decorated on a bed in a cultivated farm house. This design references traditional Rosemaling an old Norwegian decorative art form originating in Telemark, southern Norway. The flowers and other stylised ornamentation in these designs – were usually painted with primary colours and featured on objects, cabinets and walls.
